Then I heard RUN, I got up from my knees to my feet and ran and ran.  I ran outside the building in the lot between buildings.  Then I began screaming and running.  What was going on crossed my mind for a second then I felt my arms above my head flagging all heaven as I screamed and ran.  I didn’t care, I felt so free, so alive.   I felt as if I was wrapped in a fur coat.  Then I collapsed right there on the pavement enveloped, consumed in his presence.

Never in my life would I have thought!  But it happened to me, I know it was real.  I have sowed many more personal things that were of great dollar value but to me the sentimental value was what hurt the most.  But what I am still realizing is that the lord doesn’t want me to find my security in my husband or even the sentimental value of things, but in Him and only in Him.  I have to trust everything to Him.  He needs to be my Security, my everything.

The soul reason I am attending the River Bible Institute is to learn the word of god, and establish a long lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.  I am moving out of state to devote my life towards the lord.  After high school I wasn’t sure on what I was going to do so I joined the Air Force, after that I proceeded to college, and now I believe I have a calling. With an open heart, and an anxious mind I believe RBI will be the best experience I’ve ever had.

I was saved in early high school; I remember where I was, and who I was with. I’ve always been a strong believer in god, but never took the time to learn his word.  Now I have an opportunity to learn about the Bible, something I’ve wanted to learn all my life. I am the only one of my friends from back home pursuing a degree in theology. My parents are proud, my grandparents are proud, my friends are proud, and I know God is proud.

The time spent here in the last week was so valuable, and rich with information. The word of God and the feeling of his presence are so pure. What I have been getting out of RBI is exactly what I was anticipating. I enjoy learning doctrine, feeling the anointing, and seeing other people get saved. I can feel my relationship with Jesus Christ getting stronger.

Since I’ve moved to Tampa, FL I’ve relied solely on faith to get me by.  God has provided me with friends, a place to stay, and a possible job in the near future. What I experienced since my move has been a blessing from God himself. What seemed impossible is now a reality, and keeps on getting better. With faith, and a solid plan it is certain that with God all things are possible. Brandon G.

Last Friday night was amazing! Pastor Rodney was on fire and the Holy Ghost was falling all over the place.  Its hard when your so use to serving and watching Pastor and waiting to see who he will call out that you don’t press in and receive like you should.  But it was awesome because that night seemed like everything went away and it was just the Lord and I and nothing else.  Nothing else was on my mind, my phone wasn’t going off, I didn’t have to be watching and waiting, nope it was awesome to just be there and just press in. 

And I was feeling so dry and like everything that could be wrong was going wrong, I was so hungry and just wanting the Lord and telling him I need him.  And I was getting touched in my seat and weeping and I didn’t know why but I was.  And I was having so many questions about why am I here and I was getting bitter towards some things.  And the Lord just dealt with me on those things.  And I’m so thankful for that night.

Then Tuesday night Pastor Allen wanted the youth managing the call center.  I was pretty nervous cause I’ve never done that but I was like hey why not.  And also cause Pastor Todd said we had to.  So it was so awesome getting to pray for all these different people, and hearing all there stories.  Some we crazy but hey its ok, God loves them to. 

But I got to pray with this man whose name is Albert and he’s from California and he called and barley knew English and told me he wanted fire.  So we prayed and the fire of God touched this man and he was laughing so hard I could hear the echo in his house from his phone and he could barely talk.  It was so awesome to be able to be a yielding vessel so that others could be touched.-Gabriel T.

I was a mormon. thought life was never funny and could not see the point of the laughter on the programs. i saw richard roberts on program in 1994 and he was laughing and the services are so amazing with the joy the comes over the people. i began to want the joy. on sat the 10th i went to a special service and went to talk to the pastor. i asked about being saved and how to get joy. i then realized the anger i have carried for years from abuse in many directions. heard a message that if you cant forgive, God cant forgive you. i wanted to forgive and to receive forgiveness. i got saved, baptized in holy ghost both in same evening, the next day i saw the broadcast. i called got a nice funny gentleman on the phone.

I prayed and holy spirit laughter came all over me. i began to pray and a song came into my mind i just heard. more of you. more of you, i had it all but what i need more of you. of things ive had my fill and yet i hunger still…. i could not and still cant get the song out of my mind and heart. i cry it in my sleep sometimes but it has consumed me. the guy called me the other day and we laughed so hard my stomach hurt. what a joy in my life. get rid of junk, recieve christ , get holy ghost and fill up. wow.

I have listened to your stewardship series and testimonies about living by faith, living to give, living off of your giving, and believing God for big things. I was most impressed by the testimony of Debbie Rich also. As soon as I bought my car, I knew it would be a seed to sow when I finished paying for it. I finished paying for it in August of 2006. Before I came to the minister’s conference, God told me to sow it as a seed to my church here in Galveston. My pastor owns a car lot here. His partner caught the vision and gave one of his cars off the lot to a minister to go to Mexico to a conference in his hometown. One of my friends caught the vision and gave her van to the church she attends for the youth ministry to go places.

When I got back from the minister’s conference, I touched and agreed with the pastor that the Lord would send somebody to pay cash for that car. That same day the Lord healed him of diabetes, and last month, somebody came up to him and offered him cash for the car at only $500 less than the book value. I do not call my brother ‘Reverend Bill’ anymore–I call him ‘Raven Bill’ because he let me use his truck until I receive my car. I am friends with a couple who are missionaries to the Phillipines. They will be moving to the Phillipines this year. I will pick up the notes on their car when they leave America to go to the Phillipines full-time. These are exciting times for me because I am stepping out on faith in God. I withdrew part of my retirement money and have invested part of it into the kingdom of God. I remember when you spoke on that God WILL take care of you in your old age. I have cast my bread upon the waters. I know I will see a great return, because I truly am believing God for big things.
